Heidi – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Ok, so this seems like a good time to pick up. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s on sale for 67% off, and despite Kassandra and Bayek happily settling into Xbox Game Pass, Ubisoft isn’t quite ready to share Eivor yet and has confirmed it. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is not coming to Xbox Game Pass. Also, Valhalla is set to Finish Eivor’s story with the free Last Chapter DLC later this year, so it’s unclear when the game might be on sale next, or at just as much of a discount. It’s been over two years since Valhalla was released, so if you’ve been waiting for a sale, you’ll have dodged your fair share of the game’s worst bugs and can go on your Viking adventure with confidence. While Valhalla follows in the footsteps of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with a giant open world, the settlement feature in Valhalla does a good job of giving you a hub to return to, centering Eivor rather than leaving him wandering aimlessly across a nearly endless map. Valhalla dives deep into the details of Viking life and culture, and Eivor has a lot to attend to in the name of the fast-growing settlement of Ravensthorpe. This is another Assassin’s Creed game where stealth isn’t really necessary, so if you missed it in Odyssey, you might be better off waiting. Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which goes back to basics. However, if you loved Odyssey or are interested in Viking lore, or are waiting for another Open world RPG with Assassin’s Creed’s raid on feudal Japan – you might want to buy Valhalla while it’s on sale; the sheer amount of content you get with Valhalla might even help you out until it’s time to go to feudal Japan.

Luke—Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

In a sale this big, there are loads of other things I could have chosen, but in the end it has to be that way. All the world You need to experience Platinum’s top-tier hack-and-slash game: Metal Gear Rising: Revenge it’s comfortably one of the studio’s best games, and it’s so far removed from Metal Gear in almost every way that you don’t need any knowledge of the series to appreciate its sheer action. Sean — Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

If you want something that will keep you busy for hours on end, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the game for you. Skywalker Saga lets you play all nine Star Wars movies and features over 300 playable characters from the franchise in Lego brick form. I spent around 40 hours playing through the first six movies (and parts of the Disney trilogy) and enjoyed every second of it. From dueling Darth Maul as Qui-Gon Jinn to blowing up TIE fighters in an X-Wing in space as Luke Skywalker, there’s so much awesome Lego Star Wars stuff to do here. Sure, the gameplay is straightforward, but being able to explore some of the most iconic Star Wars locations that developer TT Games has beautifully recreated with such incredible attention to detail is a real joy. The real fun comes after completing a level with the characters used in the movie. Once a level is complete, you can replay it as some of the 300+ Star Wars characters you’ve unlocked, giving you access to hidden areas to find collectibles and other secrets. Along with Jedi: Fallen Order, The Skywalker Saga is easily one of the best recent Star Wars games to grace our screens, and at just $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 – the lowest price the game has ever had – it’s a bargain. As for the achievements, it will take you between 80 and 100 hours to complete the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Achievement Listmainly due to the large number of Kyber Bricks you will need to collect.

Tom – Roguebook

Before 2022, you would never have seen me play any kind of roguelike or roguelite game, let alone recommend it like you would good cheese, but I’m a different man. My new way of thinking is due to this gift of collecting cards, roguebook. Its basic premise is simple: choose two heroes to adventure with, build your deck with randomly generated cards specific to each hero, and complete all three acts by destroying the three bosses blocking your path. Bosh, in and out, the work is good. Of course, it is not entirely that Simple, as between you and each boss is an area filled with random enemy encounters, mini-bosses, unlucky card pickups, unlucky card draws, and death. If you fail your run, it’s back on the menu for you, good friend!

For me, the most attractive part of the game is the cards, which I know are practically everybody of the gameplay, but it’s attractive nonetheless. The reason is that Roguebook was designed by the creator of Magic the Gathering, Richard Garfield. The card system is really easy to pick up and a few deck combinations can lead to an extremely satisfying experience, making this game a perfect entry point for anyone considering diving into the waters of roguelike gaming. Right now, it’s 40% off its price, which is a fantastic deal for this highly compelling yet challenging game. take a look at me Roguebook Impressions from earlier this year for a more detailed explanation of how the game works, if you’re interested…
