Detroit, Mich., November 16, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc., (the Company) (OTCPK: AITX), has announced that on November 15, 2022, its CEO, Steve Reinharz, testified at a criminal assault hearing. The hearing concerned an attack on a Trinity Railway Express (TRE) conductor at a Ft. Worth, Texas train station in June of this year. A security robot, produced by the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices (RAD), captured the assault on video surveillance as it occurred.

Steve Reinharz commented: “I hope that these types of testimonials will increase over time. RAD’s security solutions are being deployed across the country to help document and often deter burglary and other property intrusions. We are pleased to do our part to help keep Texas and the nation safe and secure.”

The Company confirmed that a RAD ROSE (Responsive Observation Security Agent) was in position and fully operational at the transit authority T&P station and recorded the details of the assault on the train conductor. Video footage is securely stored on the RAD device and/or in the cloud and can be retrieved at the request of the client or authorities.

In January 2022, the company announced the successful completion of its SOC 2 exam. SOC 2 compliance has become a reference standard in the security services procurement process. The SOC 2 reporting criteria and principles are described as a means for organizations to create a documented framework of policies and procedures to demonstrate how they manage and protect data and ensure the protection of customer privacy and ensure that internal communications are drive properly.

“The RAD ecosystem that we have created is designed for these situations. We have built in tremendous security measures for access and security of all recordings from the RAD devices,” added Reinharz. “That’s one of the reasons Trinity Metro and TRE are using RAD solutions.”
